'Top Twenty Faves' countdown for 2021: Position #11, the tantalizing Yui Kobayashi!!!!

 Day early with this position but now if there's a post every other day the countdown for this year's faves will conclude on December 22nd, will probably have a recap post the following day. Not the happiest of posts which I'll briefly discuss but it turned out better than I had hoped with over forty new pics. Positions nine to eleven were the toughest ones this year, could have switched any of the faves around to a different spot and none of them would have been wrong.

 Was also thinking that just about position is #1 in some kind of category, not so sure about spot fifteen though. Number eight is the tallest, number four the oldest while #12 is the youngest. Then number two has had the most modeling pics for the year while number three the most magazine spreads, etc. Yui could be the top woman on the list for two categories, one is being the most likable. Have been wrong a few times in the past but bet 95% have been on the money thinking that someone is just an easy person to like and be with plus would be very interesting, hope nothing in the future changes my perception of her. The second thing is she's probably the most underrated fave I post often about, some reasons are what I just listed but also what an alluring woman she is. Yui has a sold fan base here but it seems to be the same size it was two years ago so it doesn't appear she's gained many new fans after 25 solo posts, may be a good idea to view some of those older ones.

 Whew, how does one top that above pic?!?! The reason this isn't the happiest of posts is that on September 9th Yui announced she was going on hiatus, it was such an odd time to do so as Keya's next single was coming out on October 13th. So while she's on the single she didn't appear on any TV programs promoting it nor was she a part of Keya's mini Autumn tour. So it's been three months since Yui has been AWOL and not a peep has been heard from her, no explanation was given for the hiatus. Most of us fans think she just had to step back and reassess her position with Keya, she and a few other older members must be so disappointed with how things have turned out the past two years.

 In a bit of a spoiler one of the above will finish in the tenth spot while the other #6, has there ever been a better trio of Idols? So really hoping Yui returns to Keya, things may not have gone as well as they should have but ex-Idols these days are not so successful having a solo career. Really can't add much more in as no word has been heard from her for so long, bet it'll be January when we finally hear what'll be happening with her future. So this hiatus means there's been no new Yui pics but there have been an okay amount of them that are newish and no doubt she prepared for her break. Such as these terrific recent pics to promote the 'Uni's on Air' web game, top four are for her October 23rd birthday. As far as Keya goes for the series will have posts for one more member, possibly two.

 Some recent Keya(Sakura) cards from the Spring and Summer which had never been posted before. Did some checking and there were zero of these cards for close to a year's stretch, they didn't start up again until this May. 

 Obviously there will be no new Yui pics for Christmas but hopefully there will be for some other members. So have a batch of some oldies yet goldies and five are new for here.

 There's still been new pics at the With Online site, not nearly as many as usual and the pics had to be taken before her break. In the bottom pics she's joined by a Hina and Nogi member.

 In 2018 and 2019 Yui appeared in more magazines than any other Keya member. But when that gap of 22 months between singles happened those spreads dried up for her and most other members. Bet she was kind of bummed out about that but it wasn't her fault, that blame falls on Keya's management and is probably another reason for her hiatus. However she has appeared in many With magazines this year but there's been a decrease in them too, this set is from their April 2020 issue.

 Have one more set of oldie pics that had never been posted before. They're from the September 16, 2018 'Girls Award' Autumn/Winter show. Shame there aren't more pics, she took her stroll on the R4G stage.

 We've hit the end, considering the situation it turned out to be a decent post and this is a drop of one spot from last year. Really not much more I can add in about Yui's break as I would just end up repeating what was said but do truly hope she returns to Keya. Why not end off with some ultra fabulous pics and as mentioned in the beginning she's way too underrated here, that top pic could be my #1 for any '46' member. Being on a break also means no new Yui videos but there usually aren't that many solo ones for Keya members. So following the pics is a video from April 2020, have had it before but it really is a must watch as it also includes such a fave Nogo gal.
