Nao Kanzaki: The sixteen most popular posts for 2021 #2, positions eight to one....

Really no reason for Yui to lead off as she didn't have any posts remotely close to making the list. But hard to top her pics and she did make the top ten last year. I've missed posting about her as she went on hiatus September 9th but made her return two weeks, hopefully can start posting about her next month. This is the fifth year doing this kind of list, first few years just had the ten most popular posts. Hope you read the above post and as I mentioned these two posts are for what posts you viewers looked at the most in 2021 and will admit all were superb.

The most viewed posts for this year had less views than the ones for 2020. What makes that odd is that in 2020 this blog had 2.9 million views, huge increase this year to 3.3 million and have to say thanks to everyone. How that worked out is that the medium popular posts were seeing a big increase in views, for instance in 2020 they may have gotten 500 views but this year it may have gone up to 650 or even higher. Plus some posts from prior years still have gotten quite a few views. There were a few surprises in this top eight which I'll mention as we go on.

Just like the first post have the name of the person and post, the position, how many views it received, some pics and a link to the post. I was semi correct with the top three, my prediction for number two was on the money. But was kind of wrong with the other two but not by much, thought #3 would be number one and vice versa.

#8, Mao Sakurada.... 3,290 views for her January 24th 'Second intro post'

Another huge gap between positions, eight and nine, that difference was 835 views!!!! This by far was the biggest shock of the year and this post was in the top ten for views for about two months. Mao was someone I thought would have a lot of posts which is why she was introduced but that hasn't worked out at all. This has been her last post and have tried having more but that's been a huge flop. Will keep trying as there's no doubt many want to see more of her and can't blame you....

#7, Mai Shiraishi... Her "Memorial Photobook" post done May 7th had 3,350 views

Disappointing year for Mai as far as activities and sparkling new pics go but she did have two posts that made the top sixteen. However this post featured her October 2020 Nogi graduation book which may have been her best sets of pics ever, that's what made 2021 that much more disappointing.

#6, Risa Watanabe... 3,505 views for her "Mikuchi' PB post done on July7th

Lot of views but still thought it'd be over 4,000 and that the position would have been a spot or two higher. But it was a nice 'comeback' year for Risa whose posts in 2020 only had the 17th highest average as far as views go. That was after finishing #1 in 2019 so what happened???? Different story this year and I wouldn't be surprised if she finished second or third in average.

#5, Yuki Yoda.... Her January 25th 'First Bonus' post had 4.585 views

There were some huge differences between positions, this was the largest at 1,040 views. Yuki is the third person to have two posts make the top sixteen and that makes sense as she's the most popular women here. When I do that next list in a week her posts will easily have the highest average of views for 2021, it won't even be close and she also was #1 in 2020.

#4, Yuki Yoda.... Her July 10, 2020 "Mukuchi na Jikan" PB post had 5,038 views

Second person to have back to back positions on this year's list. Three of these top four posts were done at least seventeen months ago and do they show some staying power! Guess viewers keep checking those posts out and why not as all are simply superb, actually kind of surprised this post finished so high. This was for Yuki's second book that came out in March 2020, with over 220,000 copies sold when is her third one coming out?

#3, Miru Shiroma.... 5,233 views for her March 4, 2020 "Love Rush" PB post

Another extremely old post that has remained popular with viewers but did think it would be #1 for the second year in a row. So what's going to happen with Miru in the future is still unknown and what a fave of mine over the years. Since she graduated from NMB in August she did have one mini mag spread and some modeling pics but not much else has been going on. This post is now approaching 11,500 views but still has a ways to go to crack the top ten.

#2, Kyoko Saito... "Totteoki no Koibito" PB post from July 20th had 5,798 views

Not the overall number one book for the year but it was the #1 most viewed post that was done in 2021. Just heard the news today that another Hina member has a book coming out on March 1st but surprised at who it was, details coming up very soon. Kyoko finished sixth on this year's faves list but it was kind of a quiet second half of the year for her. And it still is so I really hope she qualifies for next year's list, not just qualify but be in the battle for the top spot.

#1, Erika Ikuta... 6,040 views for her "Intermission" PB post done on July 11, 2019!

Don't whether to be shocked or not with what the #1 post was for 2021. Knew it always was getting a healthy amount of views even though the post was done over two years ago but didn't think it was that high. The overall total amount of views is 20,128 to date which makes it the fifth most popular post ever here. But is number one out of reach? Could be as that has over 34,000 views but that was done back in 2014 so it could be possible but not for a few years. Just did an Erika post two weeks ago and did promise to have at least one more coming up. Will be doing that but want to make her final one or two Nogi posts really superb so it's worth taking an extra week or so. Also need to view her farewell concert, was pleased that the final song is my top Nogi tune ever which was never a single.
