Nao Kanzaki: Top sixteen faves for 2021 by post average- part two, positions eight to one

Smaller intro than the above post as I think everything was explained well enough in that one. Of the sixteen women on my fave's list just nine made on you viewer's list, that's a huge difference. Don't think it means we don't share the same faves as obviously everyone is to me or I wouldn't be posting about them. Sigh, don't think I'm the only Marie fan here but at times it seems so! For the second year in a row she was my #1 and she came close to making it three consecutive years. But her average for views for posts were just 427 which placed her 26th out of the 28 gals to qualify! That disappoints me a bit but of course not enough to stop posting about her as no one will ever beat her out for most posts in a year. My #2 was Rika who at one time used to be popular but not so much these days as her average was just 530 but two years ago that would have been enough to make the list.

That's Yuika right above, shame she didn't have six posts for the year as she would have finished in second place! So part two covers the positions from eight to one, same format as the above post which are the spots, names, average and a link to a 2021 post, some positions really surprised me.

#8, Mio Imada.... Nine posts that averaged 817 views, was fourth on the 2020 list.

A drop of four spots from 2020 but the average was almost the same. I like Mio so, so much for she has made my fave's list the last three years. But like a few others her posts are starting to get into a rut as far as what's in them, seems like it's the same kinds of pics and she needs to shake things up a bit, perhaps a return to gravure modeling?!

#7, Nashiko Momotsuki... Fifteen posts averaged of 878 views, was 12th last year.

She may have had the largest jump of anyone. In 2020 Nashiko's posts had an average of 620 views so that's an increase of over 40% and she moved up five positions, she also had the second most posts of anyone. She's my all time gravure model and seems many agree with me on that! Kind of a slow period recently which hopefully means there will be a slew of posts beginning next month.

#6, Kazusa Okuyama.... Seven posts averaged 895 views, was second in 2020

Bit of a tight battle from the seventh to the fifth positions. A drop for Kazusa this year but still an impressive average though it was 1,208 in 2020. Busy stretch for her though as of late so I would expect her to be in the top ten again next year, she's done that three years in a row.

#5, Risa Watanabe.... 898 average views for twelve posts, didn't make the list in 2020.

She's now up to fifty solo posts and no Idol has had more in the last three years. Mentioned in the first post that photobooks can have a huge impact on an average and that was the case for three of the top five. If you take out Risa's July post for her book the average drops all the way down to 664 which means she would have finished 15th on this list! That's hard to believe but perhaps not, have noticed how many views her posts get and she's anything but consistent. One post will get 450 views and then the next one 880(!), hard to understand why as there hasn't been much difference in the posts. Oh well, if there is a change for next year's #1 it's her I want to see take the top spot....

#4, Yume Shinjo.... Six posts for the year had an average of 997, was sixth in 2020

There was a photobook this year but didn't do the post until three weeks ago so it'll count for next year. Big increase in average as in 2020 it was 685 yet that was the sixth highest total of the year! In 2020 Yume was 12th on my fave's list and started out this year so strongly with five posts by May. But she had only one after that and I really don't know what's been going in with her, know we all want to see so many posts for her but....

#3, Mai Shiraishi.... 1,153 average for eight posts, was fifth in 2020

This was a surprise to me and her 'Memorial Graduation' photobook really helped her average out. Take that away and it would plummet to 824 and seventh place but others also had books. Not a strong 2021 for Mai but she's had her best two posts of the year this month and I expect her to return to the 2022 fave's list. Last year her average was 784 so take away the book there wasn't too much of a difference. Was comparing the two years and not one person finished in the same position but eleven made the list both years.

#2, Yuki Yoda.... Her nine posts for the year averaged 1,304 views, she was #1 in 2020

Was so wrong with this pick as I expected a repeat champion. Last year the average was 1,394 but as mentioned photobooks help out and there was one. But Yuki shows some staying power for that 1,394 average for eight 2020 posts is now all the way up to 2,711!!!! Her first five posts of the year had close to a 2,000 average(!) but only seven hundred since then, wonder what happened? Probably a lack of new gravure pics which is usually the main reason but she's still so popular, she'll have the final post for 2021 which will be either Thursday or Friday.

#1, Kyoko Saito... 1,514 average for nine posts and didn't make the list in 2020.

Another surprise but this one is for 2020 and can't believe she didn't make the cut last year. No complaints about this being everyone's #1 most popular gal of the year and she just may be my current top Idol. As mentioned a few times photobooks really help out an average, in this case by over 400! Wow, that's a a lot but she still would have placed third on the list and why shouldn't she get credit for the book as it was one of the best for 2021. What a slow stretch it's been for Kyoko who I like immensely, she's just had one solo post in the last four months. That was for being sixth on this year's faves list and while it was a decent post really not all that many new pics. Let's hope for a busy 2022 for she's someone I want to see in the battle for being number one.
