Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Minami Umezawa: Her slightly belated 'Happy 25th Birthday' post....
Am in the midst of my completely burnt out/very blah phase so you'll know what's up with me when the posts are a bit sporadic for this week. Am exactly one week late with this but did say in Minami's last post done in December that would be the case as I thought it would be better to wait for pics from today's TGC show, there are some though not as superb as years past.
For about a year the posts for Minami, mid 2022-2023, really dried up and that bummed me out as she's become my top current Nogi member. That's mainly because of all of the second generation gals leaving but she is such a huge fave of mine who has made the top ten on the yearly faves list twice. All of a sudden starting in July the posts for her increased to the level they were at 2-3 years ago, think this is her seventh in six months and hope they don't stop. Would like to see Minami return to the yearly list and if this pace keeps up don't know why she wouldn't, am now down to her and one other Nogi member who I post about.
There hasn't been too much going on with her since that last post and this time of the year tends to be a slower stretch for Idol groups. But do have plenty of new pics along with some oldies and let's begin off with these recent ones from her IG page. It's been almost a year since Minami became Nogi's third captain and that means she should be around for at least two more years. She is their tallest member ever at 170 cm, think only one other ex-Keya member tops her as far as '46' gals go.
In my eyes Minami is Nogi's all time most alluring member but I've also thought she's been one of their smartest too which is one reason she's their captain. For over five years she has written a column for the monthly magazine Nikkei Entertainment and those columns were assembled for a new book that was released yesterday titled "Seisokei Nekketsuha". The top pic below is the cover and she did host 'Showroom' yesterday to plug the book, the video for it is after the screenshots.
Plus for the book Minami has done many interviews to promote it, here's the link to one which is with the Model Press site where she also talks a lot about he time with Nogi: Model Press site
There were no new birthday photos yet for this year but do have some older ones, two 3G members are older than Minami and would think soon we'll be seeing some graduations of them.
Getting a bit too late for Christmas and New Year's pics, the next holiday is Valentine's Day and would I love to see Minami bake me some chocolates....
Did have a terrific new magazine spread in Minami's last post but none have come out since then. Here's a semi oldie from the September/October issue of CM Now, not 100% positive but am fairly certain this hadn't been posted before and even if it had sure most have forgotten about it.
Will end off with some photos from today's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show. It was held in Shizuoka and it's not as major as their other shows, just one other Nogi member was in attendance and no one from Keya or Hina was there. Minami took her stroll on the 3 Peace stage, she did look good but not nearly as sweltering as shows from years past and they've really become much more conservative the last three years. No video from the event as it just took place a few hours ago.
