Yui Kobayashi: Sob, the end of an era is coming to it's conclusion, sob.....

 

 Really didn't have any plans on doing this post until last night when it popped into my tiny brain that the posts for her will be slowing down drastically very soon. Hope not but it's extremely rare for J-Pop Idols to be as busy as they were with their group but should have a pair of posts next month but after that who knows what will be going on? Yui's two graduation concerts will be taking place on the 31st and February 1st, both will be streamed live. So my plan is to have a regular post after that second show with some photos from it and whatever else there may be. Then was thinking of having another post about ten days later after I watch in tears that final concert a few times and have a huge amount of screenshots from it.

 Hate to still be bummed out about Yui but it's hard for me not to be. No Idol has had more posts than her over the last four years and she was on pace to be my #1 woman of all time, had said if she remained with Keya(Sakura) until 2026 that had an excellent chance of happening. Do have to say I was disappointed that Yui didn't have a graduation photobook and wonder why that didn't happen? In my eyes not many top her looks and it means that second PB from October 2022 will probably be the last time we ever see any sort of gravure pics from her. So I have no clue about any of her future plans, sure acting will be something she will pursue but hope more than that and in a way she is going out on a semi quiet note.

 The variety shows for Keya and Hina are easy enough to follow without subs though I do miss a bit of what takes place. Often do mini recaps for those shows but NEVER when there aren't subs for it makes it easier for you viewers to see what I'm talking about in the screenshots and also to follow the action much better. Yui was the focus of the last 'Soko' show which was a very entertaining one and once the subs are done for it(months from now?) will devote an entire post to it. These are a few screenshots from that last show and will she be appearing on this week's episode? To me the best show ever was #227 when it was called 'Keyakitte' and that episode aired in April 2020.

 Seeing Yui dressed as a Maid made me remember it wasn't the first time she was clad that way as there were some early 2019 cards for the now extinct 'KeyaKise' web game.

 Yui does have her own IG page and does post some ultra super duper pics. But never enough of them and these here are from the past month, very few solo ones as her mates were in most of them as it could be their last time in a photo with her. Last night Yui co-hosted 'Showroom' and the video was just uploaded to YT, it's after this batch and is it her final time on the show?

 

 March 2nd the next 'Tokyo Girls Collection; show will be held, in the past seven years Yui has attended every one of their shows. No news if she'll be at that next show but if so it'll be her first event after graduation, no news either of who from Keya and Hina will be there. Here's some superb older TGC pics from their January 11, 2020 show and I really hope she continues to appear at them.

 In Yui's last post had her January pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game. Since then these for their S.teller series have come out and they are quite terrific, her final pics for the game?

 At one time, say mid 2018 until early 2020, no Keya member appeared in more magazines than Yui did. But those spreads have really slowed down and not just for her but most Idols. However she will be the cover girl for the March issue of BLT which comes out next week, below is the cover for it along with some advance pics. This is Yui's 90th overall post, could be hard to do but would love to see #100 be hit by the end of the year.

 Final bit for today and it'll be Yui's third time appearing in the BLT magazine. Her last spread for them had been this superb set from their October 2020 issue. Keya's next single will be coming out on February 21st, will have more info in their next group post which could be within the week. Yui won't be on any of the group tracks but does have a final solo song titled "Kimi no Sayonara Ietatte", after the pics is the video for it which is subbed in English. It's a decent tune though wish some Keya members were in it, hope she's not like most Idols and quit music as she is quite talented.
