Know most Nogi fans were thinking a graduation announcement would be coming up soon and there was. However it wasn't for either of the two rumored members as instead Nanase yesterday on her blog told the world the devastating news. To me that came out of nowhere but she did say in her blog entry it's something she's been thinking about for a year now, for some reason she felt the time was right to finally announce her departure.
It's only been a little over a day since the news came out so won't go into too much of it today. What hasn't been determined is when Nanase will be leaving, won't be a birthday concert as she doesn't turn 25 for exactly eight months. Was thinking that perhaps Nogi would have their next single come out at the end of November which happened two years ago when Nanami announced her graduation. Nogi usually performs a few X-Mas concerts so that may seem like a logical time, three months from now.
Nanase could be Nogi's most popular member but the list is long on Idols who have also been popular and flopped when they left their group which has been the case so often with AKB gals. Least she's set up a little bit to start her career off as she's an exclusive model for Non-no and GRL. The question is how popular is she outside Nogi's fan base, bet most adults who don't follow J-Pop in Japan have never heard of her. Nanase is quite a likable person though and can see her continuing her acting career but wonder if she's they type to get leading roles in prime time dramas?
That's it for my thoughts, sure she'll be more successful than most Idols who graduate and she's someone I'll keep following after she leaves. This isn't a sad post though as Nanase's killer smile won't allow that and do have forty new pics for today, it's incredible how many solo posts she's had this year with almost all of them having so many new pics. Did a post a few days ago that had some pics from Sunday's 'Girls Awards' show, at it she represented Non-no and sure she'll continue with them. If you missed the post here are some pics but there's also many new ones in case you already viewed it.
At the show Nanase also was representing the GRL clothing line, that company has recently signed many members of Nogi and Keya, these are new pics for their Autumn collection.
That's Asuka in the bottom pic and both have done many photo shoots together for GRL, bet she's in line to be Nogi's next Queen. Every post usually has over 50% of the new pics for Non-no, no complaints from me as they all look so darn good and these are recent ones from their site. As you can see it's almost time for Halloween....
My favorite parts of Nanase's posts are the pics where she teams up with Risa, hope they keep having photo shoots together in the future and these too are newish pics.
Final thing for Nanase today is this spread from the November issue of Non-no and it's much smaller than usual as there's just eight pages. After the pics check out a short video for Non-no's October edition which hadn't been posted until now.
