Akari has never made my end of the year list though for some time she's been in my top ten for fave Idols. There was just never enough things to post about her but 2018 has been a different story as her popularity is at an all time high. Akari will make this year's list easily, for now may have her in the number two spot and let's hope she stays busy to retain that position.
Akari released her first photobook ten days ago and it may be the top one for this year. Her 2018 spreads have been second to none and if things were different she would be #1 for this year but the current gal has such a huge lead on everyone at the moment. There was an event in Tokyo on August 23rd for the PB, on August 29th there was another one which was at the Hoshino bookstore in Nagoya and that's the home base of SKE.
Been a lot of new Instagram pics recently and these are all from the last week.
Weren't too many happenings lately but do have a pair of tremendous new mag spreads which needed to be posted. Always knew Akari was a knockout but not to this extent as her pics the past few months have been so breathtaking. Shocked that the PB wasn't #1 on the charts, it placed second with sales of 6,146 copies sold and thought the total would have been twice as higher but think this may be a holiday period in Japan which may explain it. Both these sets have outtake pics form the book and this first one is from the August 17th issue of Friday, that second pic is out of this world.... can also say that about the third pic too....
Both these spreads are jaw-dropping but neither was big enough, second set is from the September 4th edition of SPA!. Not the most exciting of videos as Akari hosted a 'Showroom' episode last week to promote the PB and you can view it after the pics. Let's hope there's a video for the book's photo shoot and don't know why there wouldn't be.
