Yui Kobayashi: Her illustrious monthly post for.... June!!!!
Really can't say monthly as there wasn't one for February. But I would take ten posts for the year which is what the pace currently is and that was the total amount of posts for 2020 also. As I've mentioned a few times prior Yui's posts are the most consistent of anyone as far as how many views they get. Somehow they're all within about fifty which is good and bad. Good because it means she has a large fan base here but bad because Yui hasn't been able to increase her following that much even though she's had fifteen posts in eighteen months. Was just thinking that no fave has had a post every month this year, last year's #1 did have at least one a month until May but having one for June is up in the air.
Excuse the pun but don't want to skirt the issue. I've grown more disappointed with Keya with each passing day, not the members who I still like quite a bit but the group as a whole. Really thought when they changed their name to Sakura they'd be a busy bunch of gals but the opposite has happened. They have a lame variety show each week which is in such a rut and they've done so little else as a group which is really hurting the members careers. If Hina can say so busy with dramas, events, different kinds of variety shows, etc. then why can't Keya? Yui is such a massive fave of mine and she'd be my #1 current Idol if she was in Hina or Nogi. She and other member's activities have really slowed down, zero events this year plus very few mag spreads. Hate to beef about Keya as it's not the members at fault but they really need a spark lit to get them moving once again.
I would never, ever complain about Yui who I adore immensely and is probably the most likable Idol these days. Hurts seeing her career and a few others in Keya being dragged down because of management, if it was just a recent slowdown could understand that but it's been going on for over a year. This is kind of an odd post as there's zero new mag spreads nor any from an event. But have 33 new pics since that last post, eleven older ones that have never been seen here and about twenty older pics so if you're one of Yui's devoted fans you'll enjoy this post. No new mag spreads so let's go back in time for her first solo set ever which was from the October 2016 issue of UTB.
Few newish pics from the Keya group blog which they still call 'Diary'. Last year Yui finished tenth on the yearly faves list, at this point would say she's moved up a spot or two for 2021 but she'd easily be in the top five if Keya was busier, think it's time to hire Nao as their Activities Director!!!!
More new pics which are promo ones for the 'Uni's on Air' web game, it features members from both Keya and Hina.
As has been the norm this year there's no event pics, only time the members appeared at one was the February 28th Spring 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show. Don't know the official date but their next one will be in September. Let's go back in time once again and these superb pics are from the January 12, 2019 TGC show. It was held in Shizouka and Yui took her stroll on the 'Hare' stage.
Here's a batch of terrific older pics which had never been posted before. On March 13, 2019 Yui released her first photobook, it sold well but wasn't promoted enough. Two days before it's release she appeared on the 'School of Lock' radio show and wonder why she's never had her own show?
In July Yui will be celebrating her third anniversary as a With magazine model. Her pics at their site are truly hard to top, these are from the past month but not as many as usual.
We've hit the end and while no new mag spreads this final batch may be better than one. These are from a new With Online special pictorial and interview that came out on June 1st, have the link to the interview too and how about these stupendous pics!!!! Shame there's no video but have a recent mini movie for the Keya AEON credit card which I hope wasn't in Yui's last post, even if it was it deserves another viewing..... link to the With Online interview
