Nao Kanzaki: Ten most popular posts for the first half of 2021....

The 'Nao Year' runs from December 1st until November 30th. December tends to be a slow month for happenings so that's when I do the yearly fave's list along with what the most popular posts and women were for the year. That first list is of my personal faves for a year while the other two could be considered your viewers lists of faves and quite often they're far apart! So as the title says this is for the first half of the 2021, in December will have the top sixteen posts of the year. Am still undecided on whether to have a list for who the most popular women were for the first half of 2021, if it's a slow week will do it next Saturday.

In a surprise the #1 post for 2020 has been the third most viewed post to date this year, actually not too much of a shock as it's one of the most sweltering posts ever. At the top is Erika and her "Intermission" photobook post was the second most viewed in 2020. Like today's third position it had been done the year before and that's now the seventh most viewed post ever. Fourth on last year's list for most popular posts was Minami's "Sincerely Yours" PB, surprised it wasn't second. As mentioned I have nothing to do about these posts as they're the top ones of you viewers, I just compiled the stats.

Usually photobooks make up the majority on the overall yearly list which will have sixteen positions. Would say a dozen are in the top sixteen or 75% but there's been a huge decrease in Idol books this past year as you've noticed. So just two, perhaps three, posts for photobooks made up today's top ten and don't think there will be many photobooks for the second half of this year either. Lot of mega faves of you viewers didn't make today's list nor for 2020. Such as Kazusa who has been in the top five the last two years as far as the amount of views her posts receive. Yet she hasn't had one post that has cracked these lists but all of hers get a high amount of views.

Let's get to the list and while the numbers may not seem high at this point they will be come December. Posts done in April and May haven't had too long to accumulate views so the total to date may be twice as high by the end of the year. Will have the position, a link to the post and a few pics from it.

#10.... Mai Shiraishi, her February 14th post 'first post of the year' has 1,308 views

The only person to appear twice on this list and it was definitely her most conservative post ever. It was done on Valentine's Day and after seeing such a drop in popularity from 2016-18 Mai has regained her status of being a mega star though can't say the same for her mate in the bottom pic.

#9, Nao Kanzaki's 'Top Ten Photobooks of All Time' post from December has 1,344 views

Slight shocker to see one of my own posts be so heavily viewed but most seem to like those list posts. Did say I would do positions 11-25 in May but until now it completely slipped my mind, will put that on the agenda so hopefully in July. This is one of two 2020 posts to make the list.

#8.... Risa Watanabe's April 14th post 'Her 42nd unmitigated post' has 1,345 views

Closest battle as there was just a one view difference between these two positions. It does help to have older posts but three from April/May made the list and two barely missed. Nice to see Risa still has some fans and how I miss doing more posts for her. In 2019 her posts had the highest average of anyone yet last year she tumbled all the way down to seventeenth and I blame Keya's quietness for that.

#7.... Fumika Baba has 1,460 views for her April 1st post' A little bit of this and that'

Fumika is just one of the all time most popular gals here, she had another post that just missed as it was in the 13th position. Just did a post for her two weeks ago and there should be another on the way as she's just released her fourth PB, she turns 26 tomorrow.

#6.... Miyu Kitamuki, her March 1st "Koiyu photobook' post has 1,592 views

To me Miyu is so close to being my #1 hottest woman of all time, what a dazzling PB so kind of surprised it hasn't had more views. Then again most of her posts haven't been too popular which baffles me too. She's been so quiet this year as she hasn't had a post since this one.

#5.... Mai Shiraishi, her May 7th "Graduation photobook" has 1,625 posts to date

Thought this terrific PB would have had more views but it's only been six weeks since it was done so  by the end of the year it could come close to 4,000 views. Have a strong feeling this will be her final book but we can't complain as she's had more alluring pics than anyone the last five years. Will have more info in her next post which is that in August she'll have the leading female role in a drama which will be a first for Mai.

#4.... Kyoko Saito has 1,907 views for her March 3rd 'Her mesmerizing 12th post'

There aren't many bigger faves these days in my eyes than Kyoko who has an excellent shot at being my #1 woman of the year. Viewers are huge fans too as when you look at the current top ten most viewed posts for the last month you'll see her smiling face three times! She's going to be the cover girl for a pair of upcoming magazines so perhaps there will be a pair of posts for her in July, will also try to have one next week for Hina who also have the two posts below this one.

#3.... Miru Shiroma, her March 4, 2020 "Love Rush" photobook post had 2,354 views

This post is certainly showing some staying power and it was the number post for 2020. In December this PB post had 6,292 views so the overall total is now up to 8.646, it hasn't cracked the top ten of all time but it'll eventually happen. Miru's May 30th NMB graduation concert had to be cancelled but it's now going to take place in August. She's had a couple of recent posts and there may be a few in July as her second PB will be coming out in three weeks.

#2.... Mao Sakurada has 3,125 views for her January 24th 'Her second intro post'

This is a huge shock though it was an A++++ post. Did Mao's first post three weeks before this one and truly thought she'd have many more of them but sadly has had none since then. That's a shame as what a looker she is but even though I've been trying to have a post it hasn't worked out.

#1.... Yuki Yoda, her January 25th 'First bonus post of the year' has 4,270 views

Here's another gal I've ben trying to have a post for with no success, she's only had one since this one. Yuki is by far the most popular gal here as the average for her posts was #1 in 2020 and by a wide margin. But like so many Nogi members she's done so little in 2021 compared to previous years but she will be the cover girl for a mag coming up very soon so she should have a post in two weeks or so. She's also be the cover girl for the next 'BLT White Graph' mini photobook coming out in August.
