Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Erika Ikuta: Her distinguished "Graduation Memorial" photobook scans

May sound a bit confusing but how I wish things had turned out differently for Erika here. You may wonder why as she does have around 200 posts and it may seem hard to believe but only twenty are solo ones! Seems she always had ten or so pics for group posts but not too often were there enough pics and such for a solo post. Could have saved things up but that would have meant so much would have been dated. Bring that up for if Erika did have fifty or so solo posts like many members do she'd easily be my #1 Nogi gal plus bet she would have ended up in the top five on my all time faves list. So it's a shame things didn't work out better but still being in 200 posts is quite an achievement. Erika graduated from Nogi last December and this is her first post since then. Am not going to promise that there are going to be a lot of upcoming posts but do vow to work on having a few by the end of the year.

You can see how she's changed over the years! Erika's scorching "Intermission" photobook from January 2019 is one of the top ten popular posts ever here with over 20,000 views! So if you're expecting a part two of that book you may be a bit disappointed as this is rather conservative with no gravure pics. Yet I think it's a superb photobook and this is what Memorial books are supposed to be, a look back at your history of being with a group. So there's a lot of older pics from the years, many pics with members and her giving some thoughts about them. There's also two mini sections, one is with Manatsu and the other is with Asuka who I will have a post for very soon, was she close to both of them? Enough blabbering and on to the photobook which was released on December 14, 2021and has 128 pics. Most of these graduation books have just been so-so sellers, say between 40-50,000 copies. This book was a much better seller as it's sold at least 125,000 copies to date and Erika remains such a popular woman, here she could be the #1 all time popular woman so it's a shame she didn't have more solo posts.
