Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Tsubasa Honda: A little bit of this and that....
May sound surprising but am on pace to have thirty more posts than last year but that just boils down to 2 1/2 more posts a month. There's been a huge increase in drama recaps this year along with many more posts for gravure models but there has been a slowdown with posts for J-Pop Idols. However the there's been a massive decrease in posts for my top actresses though can't give you any numbers. Seems I've been able to do posts on a consistent basis for Tsubasa and two other actresses but that's been it. Can't give a good reason on why so many haven't been doing all that much for so long and I do prefer doing posts for actresses over others but sadly it just hasn't been possible.
Yesterday said I wouldn't be doing any posts after this Sunday for the faves who will be making the top ten on the my all time list. Would like to save up as many new pics as I can for those posts but did mention would try to have two posts for a pair by Sunday, this is one of them. Tsubasa should finish around the fifth position so that post would be done in mid September. Her last one was done in late June for her 30th birthday so didn't want to go over ten weeks without a post. This has been a nice comeback year for Tsubasa as she had got into a bad rut for way too long but if you ask me her pics this year have been her top ones ever which is really saying something!
This won't be too large of a post as it mainly contains some recent mag spreads and am even holding three back! Would rather have two posts of fifty or so pics than one massive one with over a hundred. No new event pics but Tsubasa has appeared at five or perhaps more this year, those events are where she's really shined! One thing she never does these days is attend those large fashion shows and wonder why as she's still as popular as ever. So let's go back in time for this small batch from the Spring 'Girls Award' show that took place on April 29, 2015.
At those old shows Tsubasa used to represent the Non-no magazine, She was with them for over eight years but left the mag in May 2018, that's a shame as her pics for them were hard to top and can also say that about other Non-no models.
It's pics like those which came out over the years which is why Tsubasa will be in my top five of all time. No recent modeling pics save for today's spreads but do have a new CM for Morinaga that's after these screenshots that has a behind the scenes segment and are better than any modeling pics!
Now on to the new mag spreads and as mentioned am holding three back for next month's post. Don't know if Tsubasa has been appearing in more mags this year but what I've noticed is how fabulous she's been looking in them, she did have a long stretch of somewhat bland spreads. Tsubasa has been a long time model for More and this first set is form their August edition.
More from More(!) and this batch is from their September issue.
Tsubasa's popularity is still extremely high as she's the cover girl for three of the four spreads, this set is from the September issue of Smart.
"Kimi no Hana ni Naru" is the title of her next drama and she'll have the lead role in it. The series doesn't begin until October so will have info about it in her next post. Will end off with this oddish Tsubasa set that's from the September edition of Vogue. After the pics is another new CM which is for Ippei Loop noodles and it also has a long behind the scenes segment.
