Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Keyakizaka46: The sixth intoxicating.... Rena Moriya post!
Had been planning on doing a group post for today but after more bad news let me put that on ice for another day or two, when will the exodus stop? Six posts for Rena this year and she's now qualified for the yearly fave's list, one other current member has also qualified along with someone who graduated in May. Rena won't be in the top five but she is a gal I like immensely, perhaps if she's busy over the next few months she could finish around seventh. On September 3rd the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Award' show will be held and for the first time she'll be taking a stroll on the catwalk so hoping her next post can be shortly after that.
Rena's first photobook "Egao no Guu, Choki, Paa" was released today, was a bit surprised at her getting a book but really glad she did. There's been an initial printing of 100,000 copies so this book is expected to be a hit, in October another Keya book will be coming out. Rena has done so many interviews the last few weeks to promote the book, have a pair of them today with this first set being from the Model Press site: MP interview
The photo shoots from the book took place in Tokyo, Nagasaki and Ishigaki island. More interview pics for the book with the Entamenext site: Entame site
What's a bit baffling is that there's been zero Rena magazine spreads for the book, been a while since she's had a solo spread. Keya still has their group 'Diary' blog and most members post pics there, these are from the last month or so.
No recent group cards for any member so let's go back in time as this batch is from 2021 and none had been posted.
Of course Rena hosted 'Showroom' last night to promote the book, video is at the bottom and these pics are actually from a show two weeks ago
This wasn't the largest of posts but least Rena's pics were all superb. This batch here are promo ones that had been posted already for the book....
.... but this final set are ones that have come out in the last ten days, how about those first three pics of Rena!!!! That new 'Showroom' video is right after the pics.
