Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Risa Watanabe: Hopefully she hasn't been forgotten about so soon....

Feeling slightly lethargic today so this will probably be the only post, not too inert though as I am trying to work on four posts for tomorrow. Sure Risa hasn't been forgotten about quite yet as her last post was done just 24 days ago for her 24th birthday. But her next post wouldn't be until September 22nd and didn't want to go almost two months without one. That date is when the #1 on my all time faves list will be revealed and it's really no question on who it will be. Risa's popularity has always gone up and down a bit, this year it's slightly down but her posts may be the most consistent of anyone these days. Seven out of her last eight posts have had between 540 and 595 views, that is a model of consistency and her other one for some reason has over 2,100 views!

Around here consistency does pay off and you may notice that on the all time fave's list, position #13 will be done tomorrow. So while Risa has never been number one on any kind of list she's going to end up being my #1 woman of all time or at least for the past five years. She's been in the top seven four straight years on the yearly fave's list, has my second or third top '46' photobook' of all time plus is in the top five/ten for various other things. Things like that are why she's going to be number one and also why many others will be in the top ten too.

June and July weren't the busiest of months for her yet have thirty new pics for today plus a few oldies and some had never been posted before. But as you can see above there are some upcoming activities for Risa, on September 3rd she'll be at the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and pics from that will be in her next post. Then on October 8th she'll appear at the 'Girls Award' show so that means a post can be done that month also. Personally think the pics from the 'Girls Award' shows are better, this batch is from their May 2019 show.

In her last post mentioned that Risa opened her own site on July 27th which also happened to be her 24th birthday. It's only been active for 24 days so it's still a work in progress, here's the link to it:

We'll never see any new Keya/Sakura cards but there's so many from the past that have never been posted here such as this batch from 2017.

Few recent pics from her IG site but she's not much of a poster, bottom pair are from her birthday while another pair are with her best non-Keya mate.

Some newish pics from the Non-no site and some of these were in their September issue. Had that spread in Risa's last post but these are 'clean versions'.

There's also a Men's Non-no site and Risa has quite a large feature there that came out earlier this week. Plenty of pics here from it and there's even more so have the link if you want to visit it. At the site there's five sections to the feature where she talks about fashion and such plus there's a few short videos. There's many Risa videos on YT that are quite good but wouldn't call any of them outstanding. After the pics have one I had never seen from 2020 promoting the 'Uni's on Air' web game.

  1. Thank you.
    Like when Neru Nagahama graduated,
I forgot how good Risa is.
The process by which Risa became beautiful is amazing.
