Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Tsubasa Honda: A slightly early.... Happy 30th Birthday!!!!!
Only a little over a day early for the birthday, less than that if you're in Japan and am I starting to feel a bit old! Not that turning thirty makes Tsubasa old but her first post here was in February 2013 for her "Piece" drama and that's still one of the top shows from the past decade. So that makes it close to 9 1/2 years since that first post and she's only woman who I've been doing posts for on a consistent basis since then. What a massive fave she's been of mine during that period and have often said if I was ever stranded on a desert island Tsubasa is the woman I'd want to be stranded with, still have that opinion after so many years. Perhaps even more so for doesn't she look better than ever these last few months?!?!
Time is zooming by too fast these days, in six weeks the second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list will begin it's countdown, first list was done four years ago. Of course Tsubasa will be on it, on that first list she finished in the tenth position but she has an excellent chance of cracking the top five this time around! Will discuss it more in a pair of intro posts for the list but may make it with just sixteen faves. May sound difficult to believe with all of the women I post about but am having a hard time coming up with twenty faves! Just want the list to be the best of the best, while it's true I do have many current faves do I consider them to be truly elite or all time faves?
That bottom pic is a promo one for her next drama "Kimi no Hana ni Naru" though it won't be starting until October. For the most part birthday posts are just the same as all others, just tend to save up recent pics to have a post for that day. It's obviously too early to have any pics of her celebrating #30 but some from years past....
It's never going to happen but would love to see this trio share a few more pics together. As a matter of fact as far as trios go these pics could be considered unbeatable as all three will be making the top ten on the fave's list and for now would have Risa #1. Though she's been a bit quiet this year Yui has really zoomed up on that list and could be eighth or so.
This is Tsubasa's seventh post in less than three months so it's not a large one or least it didn't seem that way. Am holding back one spread so there can be a post in July, she may be absent for a while soon to film her upcoming drama. This batch are new pics from the More magazine site and in the last few years she's really cut down on her modeling work.
Some of those above are 'clean version' pics of her spread from the July issue of More.
Tsubasa is often the cover girl for the magazines she appears in but didn't have the honor for any of today's sets. Have two spreads here which are both for Spring, top five are from their July issue while the others are for August.
"Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Transmutation" is the title of Tsubasa's new film, it's the third of a trilogy and here's the link to the Real Sound site for an interview she did for the film: Real Sound site
And lastly the film was released yesterday but didn't have it's premiere until today. The event took place at the Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo, the previous film in the series was only a mild success as it was ninth at the box office it's first week out. One thing I've noticed this year and it's been hard not to is how fabulous Tsubasa has looked at events, every single one she's attended this year has left me breathless and today's are no exception! This premiere just took place earlier today so there's only one video from it, it's 35 minutes long so won't post it. But instead am feeling a bit nostalgic so let's go back in time for one of Tsubasa's overly superb Non-no videos, it's a must watch if you're a Keya fan as it's from the photo shoot for those pics near the beginning.
