Scandal: Final set of 'Zippo Girl' pics plus much more new news....

 

 Three posts in a week for these gals but think this will be the final one for the month. The goal was to have two per month but the PV for Scandal's new single wasn't released until two days ago. The single came out on September 29th, in it's first week it was #17 on the charts and while all of their albums reach the top five the last few years most singles end up peaking in the teens. At the top is the video for "One More Time", have only watched it twice and it's a medium tempo rocker but not as fast as many of their earlier singles.

 The group just has a so-so amount of fans here but as I've mentioned often they're my top group and I've been getting back into J-Rock much more as I rarely play pop these days. For today have quite a few new pics and some oldies which will always be new here! But running out of these group photobooks, think there's two more to get to but there's so many other things from the past decade that will be included in these posts. When you look at all of their pics for today and the ones in previous posts there's no denying that they're the most 'colorful' group around.

 Such as more pics like the above one!!!! That's from 2017 when the gals traveled to Okinawa to shoot a video and there's many more of them if your(my) heart can take it. Will start off with some oldies from 2017 and you can guess what day this concert took place. Figured I'd have these now as their next post won't be until the first week of November, prefer to wait until that first week as Scandal releases a very enjoyable and informative video on the last day of a month. The one that came out on September 30th will be at the bottom of the post.

 Scandal does have sort of a 'All for one, One for all' kind of motto. Haruna does garner the most attention but she tries to make sure the other gals get just as much exposure. They mainly do group interviews but for this one with the KKbox site Haruna was on her own, of course she talked a bit about the new single but much was about her fashion style: KKbox interview

 Scandal has their own Line blog, while they may not do a huge amount of posts when they do they're always chock full of superb pics. Such as these from the group's October 4th show at Studio Coast's Griotto club where they've played often. The girls were kind of bummed out as it was their final show there as the place is closing down and they mentioned way too many medium sized clubs have been closing, it was the first show on their mini October tour.

 Final set of pics and in Scandal's last two posts had a pair of 'Zippo Girl' pictorials that came out in 2011 and 2012, both times in December. Have one last batch of promo pics for the company, many pics are for their lighters but they also had promoted the company's IPads/IPhones. Some pics pics are repeats but there aren't many and don't forget to check out the video at the bottom. It's the group's latest 'her Diary' video and they're all subbed in English, to me these videos rate an A+++++++!!
