Scandal: 'Zippo Girls' volume one pics plus a few other goodies....

 

 My, their looks have certainly changed over the years and hard to say which styles are better though they're both darn good in their own way. Of course Scandal posts aren't going to get nearly as many views as a Nogi post but they do seem to have many fans here, as I've mentioned in their previous posts they're my #1 musical act from Japan. Odds are 50/50 but may have another post for them tomorrow and will explain why in the final part. Will also be having a post in about ten days for more new activities and such, seeing as how their first post wasn't until two months ago there's so many things from the past to get to.

 On September 29th Scandal released their 27th single "One More Time" and will have much more info about it in that next post. That's because the PV for it won't be coming out until October 6th so that post will have that and any other tidbits for it. In it's first two days out the single finished in the 13th and 18th positions on the Oricon chart. It's okay that the PV isn't out yet as that top video may is a much more interesting watch. It's volume 7 of the group's ongoing 'her Diary' documentary series and has some concert footage, what goes on behind the scenes and more, what make it so terrific is that it's subbed in English! That came out on July 31st, volume eight came out on August 31st and have that video at the bottom of the post. her is the name of their record company and volume nine came out two days ago so will have that in their next post.

 Top pic is for Scandal's mini tour beginning tomorrow. But in some sad news a few days ago they announced they cancelled their 2022 tours of Europe and America due to the health crisis, they are really popular outside of Japan. So have a little bit of some other things besides the main batch of pics and how about an interview?  Will be working on having more mag spreads in these posts but of course most will be from music ones. Such as this way too tiny set featuring Mami 😍 and the March 2017 issue of Sound Designer. She has designed her own home studio, would love to see her have her won photobook like Haruna did but is she getting too old for one?

 In August Scandal celebrated their 15th anniversary as a band, they had a huge show in their hometown of Osaka and the DVD of that concert will be coming out in November. On to the final set of pics which isn't exactly a photobook but close to one. This batch came out at the end of 2011 for Zippo, it's promoting their lighters but more than that as they were also promoting their I-Pads and phones. This set has 35 pics but volume two has a hundred(!), if I can't create a second post for tomorrow will have that other set of Zippo pics. After these is the other 'her Diary' documentary video.
