Nogizaka46: The spine tingling 'Miona Hori post' #40!!!!

 

 Whose spine wouldn't be tingling looking at that bottom pic?! But then again that first pic may leave too many of us in a daze! One week to go until G-Day which means graduation and though I've seen too many to count over the years this is the saddest one to me though not sure if sad is the correct word. It was just kind of unexpected when Miona came out with the announcement at the end of November and in a way she may be my biggest reason for following Nogi these past two years. Have to admit I still much prefer their period from 2014-18 and how I miss so many of those departed members. Miona will definitely have much more time on her hands soon and wonder what she plans on saying to me then after G-Day....

 Sigh, would say pinch me to wake me up from the dream but on second thought don't(!), sigh. But as I've mentioned in a few recent posts won't be getting too down regardless of what I said in the opening. Just kind of wish Miona had more set up for what her post-Nogi life will be and don't want to see her end up like so many other popular Idols. When you think about it there's really only two Idols that graduated between 2016 and 2019 that I post about. It's not that I don't want do posts for others but for the most part they just disappear or end up doing projects off the radar. The two that do get posts, especially the bottom gal, are actually bigger faves of mine after their graduations and kind of hope Miona has noticed what they've been doing right.

 It's hard to believe how few pics there were with the bottom gal, perhaps not even ten and actually Miona has only many pics with one first generation member as she's been devoted to her 2G mates. One person not to take after is this ex mega fave who has kept her word about retiring, can you believe it's been over four years since her departure?

 So next Sunday, which is March 28th, is the graduation date and it'll be taking place during a second generation concert, that group will be down to seven members. Will probably do a post shortly after that with some concert pics but may wait for a subbed version to come out to fully explain all that took place. This is now Miona's sixth post and whatever happens after April at least she's qualified for the yearly faves list but can't see her being #2 for this year. It's also her third post of the month meaning there aren't a massive amount of new things. 

 But do have a little over forty new pics plus some encore ones from years ago which many may not have seen or have forgotten about. As I've said over the years Miona is Nogi's best blogger, she posts so many pics and will be holding a few back for her next post which with any luck may be a day or two before the graduation concert. These are all from the past two weeks and she loves changing her hair which she seemingly does every day.

 No new mag spreads for today but those middle pics above were from a recent UTB photo shoot and she'll be in their next issue, how many mags will she appear in after her departure? Have a good amount of newish Nogi cards, so many this is only half of them. Not brand new but all of them have come out since last October.

 Miona wasn't at the last 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held on February 28th, will we ever see her at another one? Have often put some of their older show pics in these posts when there's been no other events. But have noticed Miona has looked better at the 'Girls Award' shows over the years and there just hasn't been as many of them. So here's a blast from the past and bet many have never seen these from the Spring/Summer 'Girls Award' show held on May 19, 2018.

 Don't think she had Nao in mind for that bottom pic! As mentioned no new mag spreads for today though know she'll be in at least two upcoming ones, what a decrease in spreads for the members this year so far. So once again let's jump into the time travel machine and go back to June 2019 and this set from Brody featuring my top two Nogi gals, they've had three pair posts and perhaps a fourth will be coming up.

 It's good to have some older things in these posts for if you're a newish Nogi fan they would actually be new for you and bet many long time fans have forgotten all about some older shows or spreads. Last May Miona released her second photobook which was my #1 Nogi PB for 2020 though did like her first one better. Have some outtake pics from the photo shoot that hadn't been posted before.

 We've already hit the end but at eighty pics it certainly wasn't a small post, doing ones for her seem to fly by too quickly. There's been a pair of Nogi graduation photobooks and both were for the members near the top. The books were okay but to be honest nothing special. Miona will have a graduation PB coming out on April 20th so perhaps we'll see her doing some promoting of it next month. This book appears as though it's going to be a super duper one and not like those previous two books. The top four pics are the covers while the rest are brand new advance pics for it, some fabulous pics if you ask me. Except for a pair of Showroom' videos there hasn't been any new ones the past month or so, that's often the case for members. But if you can remember that ghoulish second pic of the post it was from an old 'Nogi under Construction' show and you can view that segment after the pics.
