Marie Iitoyo: Her quest for world domination(or Nao's heart!) is almost complete....

Hmmmm, she's already conquered my heart(!) but before we get to the main heroine for this post have some news on a pair coming up this weekend. It's been exactly one year since I posted the pics from the sweltering "Love Rush" photobook, it's set a record for most views in a year but didn't check to see what the number currently is. So that got me thinking how does that post compare to others since 2017? Back in mid 2019 did a list for the most popular posts from 2015 until June 2019 but things have really changed since then. So this weekend was thinking of having a pair of posts to figure out what have been the most popular posts the past four or so years. I'm kind of curious what they are, bet "Passport" will be number one but really don't have much of a clue about the others save for the one PB mentioned. Will have positions twenty to eleven on Saturday, on Sunday the top ten.

Marie won't have any posts in the top twenty and doubt if she would have any in the top one hundred! But as I said in her previous post she is getting slightly popular here or at least compared to two years ago. This is her third post for new happenings in eleven days(!) and glad you viewers aren't getting tired of Marie. Often when there's many posts for someone in a short stretch every post gets less views than the previous one. That hasn't been the case for her and now she only needs two more posts to hit that exclusive mark of one hundred.

This is Marie's sixth post of the year already and she's the first to qualify for the yearly fave's list. But as mentioned should I make her and other yearly winners eligible this year? Think two others would have a shot at making the top twenty but if she's included then there would be zero suspense. That's because unless a major tragedy takes place in the next eight months Marie is certain to repeat for being my #1 of the year. The only way I would include past winners if there aren't as many to qualify and don't think there will be 32 such as last year so perhaps I should tweak those rules a bit as there are circumstances that are hurting so many faves.

On to the newish pics and it's hard to believe there's fifty since Sunday. Above is an Instagram pic from December and the set of the mini drama 'Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe'. Had the three episodes which I viewed but they really needed subs. To my surprise last month a team subbed the drama and that's one I'll be recapping soon. First off though need to finish two other drama, both have four more recaps to go and once they're done will start in on this show.

It aired at the end of December for three nights, all the episodes had different stories. In the mini series Marie played the role of Izumi who is a rookie editor at a publishing company. She's been assigned to be the new editor of a popular yet hard to work with daffy manga writer named Kishibe. It's bit of a slow drama but a very interesting one and can't wait to watch all of the shows with subs. Did watch most of the first episode titled 'Millionaire Village' and some screenshots from it.

One of those dramas I'm currently viewing is 'Kimi no Sekai', was going to write up the recap for the seventh episode until this post took place. So will be a little late in having those two recaps, it'll probably be happening on Sunday or perhaps Monday because of those two special posts mentioned in the beginning. Marie is in this drama, she plays the character of Kanae who is a college student and is one of the very few alive in the Miura area of Japan which are being overrun by Golems.

Golems are Zombie like creatures and a virus that escaped from a mad scientist's experiment is the reason humans have been transformed. Kanae's role in the first four episodes save for the third wasn't all that large. But in the last four shows she's probably had the second most screen time and this is shaping up to be my top series of the year. These are screenshots from the seventh and eighth episodes where Kanae's personality is really changing. She killed her first Golem and even had to shoot a boy with an arrow to save a woman from her small group.

There's also going to be a second season right after the first one ends, of course will be recapping that series too. Not a huge amount of other new pics, about 35 but all have come out in the last four days and I always jump at the chance to have a post for Marie. And that means I've certainly been doing a lot of jumping recently and where does she find the time to do all of these activities? Looks like a new site may have signed up Marie to be a model as these pics from the PLST site have all come out since Monday and all are so superb.

Can't have a post without terrific new pics from the Oggi site.

Marie has been a model for Oggi since August 2018. No new mag spreads for today so will have an encore viewing of her first cover for them which was from their September 2019 issue.

It's okay that there's been no recent mag spreads as some should be coming up soon and she's one of the only gals I can post about who doesn't need any for a fabulous post. On March 11th, which is today, Marie attended her second event of the week for the upcoming "Tom and Jerry" anime film. The Japanese premiere will be on the 19th so hopefully there can be another post on that date, she voices the character of Dove DJ in the movie. Today's event was to promote a 'Tom and Jerry' museum exhibit which is at the Laforet Museum in Harajuku. Saw many pics from the exhibit, lot of things from the movie but also many pics and such from the cartoon's long history. Marie always looks like a zillion yen to me at events, don't know anything about her mate but she's an actress who also voices one of the characters. Plenty of fine pics from the event which is followed by a video.
