Nao Kanzaki: Most popular twenty posts since 2017 part one, positions twenty to eleven....

 

 Talked about doing this pair of posts two days ago and it's been 2 1/2  months since any lists so wanted to break the monotony a bit. What got me curious about which posts have received the most views is that it was just the first anniversary of when the "Love Rush" photobook post was done. Had a feeling it set a record for most views in a year and was wondering how it would stack up against other posts since January 2017. Decided on that cutoff as back in 2019 did a post for the popular ones from 2015 to mid 2019 and think there's two repeats from that original post.

 Was going to have this post on Saturday but may take the day off. Will have part two to this 'thrilling' mini series on Sunday and can you guess any of the top ten?

 So broke down what the top twenty posts were by how many views they received. So that means it's not a regular Nao list but one for which posts you viewers enjoyed the most. Could have called the post top twenty photobooks as they had seventeen of the twenty positions. Of course there will be some surprises on the list, both good and bad. Leading off this post is Juri Takahashi who to me is AKB's hottest member ever. Her photobook post done in March 2019 ended up 21st on the countdown, wish she made the list as that's one of my top books but she did beat out so many others.

 That post to date has gotten 4,915 views, wasn't close as number twenty topped her by 190 views. In all 32 posts since January 2017 have received 4,000+ plus views, none of the ones less than 5,000 made you viewers top twenty. In two years will probably do another list like this and things do change over time. Older faves and certain posts continue to get a lot of views so two years from now the second ten on the list may look much different. For instance Yuki may make the list next time and her most popular post finished 32nd. That was for her second photobook and that post was done in July 2020, it's had 4,004 views to date and in two years that figure could be doubled.

 Last year Yuki was the most popular gal here by a wide margin and think she'll keep that title in 2021. Two other posts from 2020 made the cut so slightly surprised her PB hasn't had more views but it's still had such a high amount. Enough of the intro and will finish off any thoughts in part two. So this post has positions twenty to eleven, will work backwards to keep the suspense up. My prediction of what was #1 was true and can't believe how many times it's been viewed. For each position will have a bit of info along with a link to that post and let's get to your favorite posts.

 Seems as though you viewers like so many different gals. For the top twenty there was only one person who made the list twice and would have thought it would have been more. Of course I brought that up because it was Erika and I miss doing solo posts for her so much, there were zero last year. She is such an underrated beauty and have to admit I may take her for granted. You'll have to wait a while for her next position as that finished way up on the list.

 It did help to have an older post as they've had so much more time to amass views but after a few years things tend to even out. Here's another person who hasn't had many posts as of late and know you viewers miss her as so don't I. Fumika is one of the top five most popular gals here, perhaps only one post in the top twenty but all of her posts receive a high amount of views. She's kind of streaky as far as having mag spreads and books go so let's hope for a busy second half of 2021.

 #18... Minami Tanaka, her March 7, 2020 "Sincerely Yours PB" has 5,551 views to date.

 One of two posts from 2020 to make the list but to me it's kind of a disappointing position. While it's true that's a high number of views expected it to have a few more thousand and did I post too many photobooks last year? It's approaching 500,000 copies sold and it's the best selling photobook in history which is a reason I thought the views would have been much higher. Was thinking earlier today that it's been a while since a Minami post so hope to have one within the next week or two.

 Big difference between the last two positions and this may be the biggest shock of them all. It's a superb photobook but surprised at how many views it's received over the years but it was the eighth most viewed post in 2018. Rena is an AKB gal who I've always liked and haven't done a post for them in eons. Partly my fault as I don't follow the group as closely and have to admit I had slightly forgotten about her so guess I need to see if she can't somehow have a post soon. This month would be perfect as March is her 11th anniversary as an AKB member.

 Part two is the post after that one. Here's a mega fave who I truly miss and is slowly fading from my and perhaps your memory. It's now been a little over four yeas since Nanami departed from Nogi which took place on her 24th birthday and how they miss members such as her. Not much to add in but she has more solo posts than any Idol so they're worth checking out if you don't know her well.

 Can't have one of these post without Kyoko appearing on it. She still has the top three most viewed posts of all time but am wondering if that'll be the case in two years? She's the oldest gal I post about on a regular basis but it's been a while since she's had one. Will have to work on some though haven't seen her name in the news at all this year.

 #14... Nanase Nishino, her "Watashi no Koto" PB post from June 1, 2018 has 6,610 views

 No surprise there being a Nogi book in this position but shocked it was for Nanase. It was her third book and also her last one to date, will we ever see another? Been well over a month since her last post but have been working on one which you'll see soon. She has the lead role in an upcoming drama and will also be appearing in her first stage play.

 Another surprise and always wondered why this post has gotten so many views? Back in 2019 Risa's nineteen posts had the highest average of anyone. But this post was no better than her others so could never understand why this one was so popular. Being popular here is no longer the right word for her as she fell from being #1 in 2019 to seventeenth in 2020.

 Where has she disappeared to? Nana was such a busy gal for a long stretch and was mainly doing gravure spreads or pictorials. But she's only had one post in the last five months and not sure what's been going on with her. Like the above fave she was so popular in 2019 as she was second in post average and that really tumbled in 2020.

#11... Erina Mano, her "Erina photobook" post from April 26, 2018 has 7,015 views.

 Sadly that has been her final PB and also my #1 of all time. This is one of those posts that still attract many views and may have ben in the top ten on the first list done two years ago but so many other posts from years ago also keep receiving many views. Erina is one of my biggest faves ever but may never have another post here. She got married in 2018 but hasn't had any children and still does do a bit of acting but not to the level she once did. She'll be hitting the age of thirty next month and so many of my faves are over that age or approaching it.
