Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2023: Position #5, the unparalleled Nene Shida!
That top photo could be my #1 of the year and has any woman had as many beyond perfect pics as she's had since 2020? Wasn't sure if there would be another post for today but once again it was a case of why wait until tomorrow to do what could be done today?! Doesn't it seem as though I've been posting about Nene for so long yet this just marks the third anniversary of her first post. This makes it an even fifty for her in the short period of 36 months which averages out to be 1.4 posts a month. So would have to say no one else has topped that total amount of posts since December 2020 and I will never get tired of doing these for her! However this could be the smallest of all sixteen posts for the fave's list, of course it will be terrific but Nene has been a bit quiet the second half of this year though did have two posts last month. So while this is a bit smallish will have such a terrific post for her coming up on January 1st and will tell you what it is at the bottom.
There's been a lot of different number ones over the years for who my favorite woman is for a category though these days the changes aren't happening as often. One thing that will never change is of Nene being my all time fave gravure model and what a gap it is between her and number two! To me she is the best example of perfectness 😍 yet I do think one other woman beats her for being the most alluring/sexiest/hottest woman ever but it's not by much. So did say the second half of 2023 has been a bit quieter for Nene and have wondered if she's planning on easing out of doing gravure modeling? Her acting career is doing better as she was in an October stage play plus she had a medium sized role in the "Kamen Rider Geats" series and also co-hosts a radio show. Nene will be turning 26 next year so we can't expect her to continue modeling forever though if she did I for one would never complain! Back in March of 2022 she did graduate from college and wonder if she ever has any thoughts about using that degree?
In 2022 Nene finished in the second position on the faves list so this was a drop of three spots. That's nothing major and she's the first gravure model to finish in the top five twice. Where there was a drop was with posts, she had fourteen this year which most women would kill for! But in 2022 she had 26 which tied a record so twelve less posts is a huge difference but if she can hit fourteen again next year that'd be fine by me. Not too many sections to this post, first off are these recent pics from her IG page, few are from a December 3rd event in Nagoya to promote her second photobook. Even though the book came out in September it just had a reprinting so there were a pair of events for it, first two pics are from the photo shoot of an upcoming mag spread.
Christmas doesn't seen to be a huge holiday for Nene though she certainly has given us many presents over the last few years!!!! Not many pics for the holiday but after them is an X-Mas video from her Vlog that she posted last December, will admit it's not all that exciting.

There is at least one upcoming mag spread but have no new ones for today. So will have an encore viewing of a pair of them, her first and last for 2023 with this set being from the January 23rd issue of WPB. As you can see Nene shared the cover with possibly the two most popular women here with you viewers though you know who my fave of the trio is, all had won a 2022 modeling award with the magazine.
Nene's final spread for 2023 will be this one from the November 21st issue of Manga Action. She was the cover girl but didn't seem to have that honor as often in 2023 as previous years.
Final bit for today and a nice treat for all of Nene's fans is that on January 1st will be having a post for her second photobook that was released on September 10th. Hard to say which book is better as they're both too perfect to describe, there's a total of 104 pics in the second book and here's a few of them to whet your appetite! So that post will be a fabulous way to begin off 2024 and it may not be topped as far as posts go! Shame there's no videos from the photo shoot so after the pics have a terrific 2022 Young Magazine video, Nene has too many sweltering ones on YT to count!!!!
