Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2023: Position #9, the sophisticated and enticing Mai Shinuchi

 After all these years still think she has the best legs of any woman I post about, rest of her is pretty darn fabulous too! These yearly faves lists are naturally for what someone has done in the past year which is why sometimes my bigger faves don't make it if they had been a bit quiet. But will admit the past does come into play and there's really nothing wrong with that. Plus just because you may not see many posts for someone may not mean too much as I may watch a lot of their dramas, films or videos plus do follow them daily even though I know much may not be going on and does that makes sense?

 So there's a quartet of women who may not have been as busy as others or perhaps not have had as good of a year. But as long as though those four are busy enough and have 6+ posts in a year they will probably always be on the list. Bring those thoughts up for of course Mai is one of the elite quartet, so aren't #'s fifteen, eight, one and there may be a fifth who will be number three this year. Three of them are over thirty in age and I've been following that trio for many years and what's surprising as that two have had more posts than ever after graduating from their J-Pop groups. Personally like how my bigger faves haven't changed all that much over the years, that four or maybe five, all finished in the top twelve on my 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list.

 When Mai was with Nogi she only qualified for the list once which was in 2021, as the years went on her posts had been increasing. She's been gone close to two years and in that period has had over twenty solo posts and those posts receive more views than the ones she had with Nogi. So while Mai will never be #1 on any yearly, all time or photobook list she is number one in a personal category. Which is to me she would make for the best girlfriend 😍 or perhaps even wife of any woman I post about, she is one fun gal who looks just so darn good plus is so interesting and intelligent. This will be a good sized post but could have made it even larger, will tell you why it could have been a bit bigger later on in the post as she may have another one coming up very soon. Last year she was fifth on the list so this was a drop of four positions. That's not too bad though as last year she had the huge advantage of having her overly alluring second photobook.

 On January 22nd Mai will be hitting the age of 32 yet she's just the third oldest woman on this year's list. I do prefer posting about women around her age but there are a couple of younger gals coming up on the list. So have a little bit of many things, for a while was worried there wouldn't be enough newish pics for these posts but everything has worked out well. First up are these recent photos from her IG page, not a huge amount as she just had a post a month ago. The bottom two are new pics she posted at her fan club while the photo above that is her with Kazumi. Those two seem to be very close and they've had a few other pics these past two years.

 Still a bit early for Christmas but why not have some fine looking Mai pics for the holiday? That's a fine idea to me, some had been posted last year but a few are brand new for here.

 Mai is a natural host and does have two radio shows along with co-hosting an Idol contest show. That's called 'Idol Kamigoe Challenge' and a few days ago watched my first ever episode. To be honest it's kind of a lame show and after 3-4 minutes thought why am I watching this? But it turned out to be a fun show and the guest group for this episode was BababaBambi who like quite a bit. The show has an ongoing Karoke contest and after this show they're the group to beat! Mai didn't say too much as most of the attention is with the guest groups, will talk about this again and have even more screenshots in the next BababaBambi group post.

 One of the radio shows Mai hosts is called SDGs which held a festival a few weeks back with their other hosts and it was mainly a women's event to help them with their daily lives. After the festival she had an interview with the Girlswalker site that just came out three days ago. Have the link to the interview though it's with the Livedoor site as the other couldn't be translated to English, no talk about marriage and so many ex-Idols in their thirties have never tied the knot: GA interview

 Have said a few times in other posts that I wish Mai would begin to model again as her older ones are tough to top. Wrote this post up yesterday but didn't publish it until the following day. In the beginning said there's a good chance of having another post for her very soon. That's because tomorrow the new issue of Big Comic Spirits will be coming out and guess who will be their cover girl?! Holding on to it for two weeks works out well as that next post will have that spread plus there are more Christmas photos that can be included and sure there will be a few other things, here's the cover for the magazine. The spread will be for her 2024 desk calendar and the cover for that is the other pic.

 In an odd twist the last time Mai graced a cover was exactly one year ago, that too was for Big Comic Spirits and was also promoting a calendar. Here's an encore viewing of the spread and even though there not gravure pics I think she looks simply amazing!!!!

 Over the last twenty months Mai has appeared at so many events, in my eyes no woman looks as classy and elegant these days at them!!!! For her 2024 desk calendar there was an event that was held on November 18th at the Shibuya HMV store, that's what this final batch of astounding photos are from. Shame there's no video from the event so after the pics have an oldie from 2019 which is a behind the scenes video for Nogi's "Always With You" card series and one that I really enjoyed. Think that next post will be just before Christmas as that will be a fine present for her growing fan base.
